Social Networks and e-Government
The associative tissue is the cornerstone of any society in network. Revising the notes that I took during the day of e-Governance carried out by the Generalitat of Catalonia last month of June and seeing that the material of the communications is already available (here) I have found something quite interesting that had remained put away in a corner of the memory...
Marta Continente, Chief Operating Officer of Citizen Attention of the Generalitat of Catalonia, talked about the importance that the social networks will have in the strategy of approach of the administration with the citizen, in her communication "Government and Citizenship: the new gencat.net". But not only she, also Noshir Contractor in his communication "Social Networks and Local Governments" talked about the importance of basing the administration-citizen relationship on the construction of social networks as base element on which to build the future public administration.
It is a change in the relational model; it is intended to assimilate the "social networking" through the implementation of tools of "social software" as blogs, wikis and others... Interesting, interesting.... I talked some months ago about this subject already relating it to the concepts of "social capital" and with the "game theory"
Referred to the project e-Cataluña you can see some references of the blogosphere...
La Generalitat quiere crear una e-Catalunya a base de redes sociales
La innovación exige generar redes sociales de investigadores, empresas y financiadores
Egovernment en tiempos de blogging
La innovación y las redes sociales
Nuevas perspectivas en e-Government
And finally to recommend you some papers:
