Connection = Equality Fear?
One of the basic questions to improve the information society, to prevent the digital gap partially, to globalize informatively, for power of endowing to all the world with the same opportunities is to weave the network.
The connectivity, as previous step to a total interoperability among administrations, is essential. The way of making the machines understand it has to be studied, but we have to create before the ways through which the information will travel.
That's why it cheers me up to see that impulse is given to technologies as WiMax as future solutions in the present. That's why to try to create infrastructures to insure broad side they being a whole purpose of the administration cheers me up. In addition, of course, connectivity is the business of our days.
The information highway every time is more real, although as in everything, it will take us to arrive to a total coverage. Taking that there are they into account ways since the man was man and precisely now are not everything highways. Taking that from Gutemberg invented the printing into account they have passed a heap of years and still there are people who do not know how to read. We will have to take that isolated areas will always remain, where the development is inferior to the rest, into account. But can have the hope that thanks to the new technologies the coverage can be of 100%.
I wait, for desire, and is more, I am sure that in the moment that the access to the new technologies arrives in the developing countries, the growth that are going to suffer will be spectacular, will be capable of surpassing us in many things. The necessity is the best teacher.
Maybe because of this precisely, we do not make all what we have in our hand to do that effective and real connectivity. Do we have fear?
